FiveBox, LLC is a custom software development company in Atlanta, Georgia. We are headquartered in Buckhead, Atlanta, at 3500 LENOX RD NE STE 1500, ATLANTA, GA 30326. We work with organizations across Atlanta and Georgia, and throughout the United States and Canada. Remote engagements are normal for us.
What kinds of projects suit FiveBox?
Work where the software has to hold up: operations platforms, tools for field and back-office teams, customer-facing mobile apps, cloud migrations and AWS DevOps, and reporting that people actually make decisions from. We are a good fit when the problem is specific to how your business runs and off-the-shelf software does not fit it.
How does a project start?
It starts with us understanding the problem — not with a proposal. We work out what is actually broken, define the system around the real workflows, data, roles and edge cases, then build a thin working slice of the riskiest part first. From there we ship on real usage signals and keep supporting what runs.
Do we have to replace everything we already have?
No — and we will usually argue against it. Most systems have parts that work perfectly well, and the trouble is concentrated in a few places. We start by working out which is which, keep what earns its keep, and rebuild only what is genuinely holding you back. Some firms open with a rewrite because a rewrite is the biggest engagement. Tearing it all out should be a conclusion you arrive at, not the opening position.
What technologies do you build with?
React Native for iOS and Android, and Java, Node, TypeScript, Angular, React, Ruby on Rails and Scala on the server and the web. AWS for cloud and DevOps. We use AI assistance where it genuinely makes the team faster, and we are honest about where it does not.
